MOSCOW, RUSSIA – April 4, 2018 – XPO Logistics, a leading global provider of transport and logistics solutions, has been awarded a contract by Valio LLC, the Russian subsidiary of Finnish dairy producer Valio Group, to manage its warehousing and distribution operations in the Saint Petersburg area, Russian Federation. Valio, a Finnish dairy manufacturer and the market leader in all key dairy product groups in Finland, has served the Russian market for more than a century.
XPO will provide a full range of logistics services to Valio, including storage and picking, as well as value-added services for repacking and labeling. In addition, XPO will distribute Valio products in Saint Petersburg and the surrounding region. The two companies have already worked together in Russia for several years, with XPO providing for receipt of inbound goods and transport of outbound deliveries to retail points of sale.

XPO is a leading logistics supplier for food manufacturers and retailers in Russia. The company will support Valio from a multi-customer site in Saint Petersburg, that was recently expanded by an additional 5,000 square meters.
