Urban Accessibility Experts

Whether navigating Low Emission Zones, ensuring early access to counters for artisans, or accommodating vulnerable road users, XPO is experienced in overcoming the specific accessibility challenges that come with delivering to urban areas and construction sites.

XPO also has made significant investments in electric vehicles (EVs). In early 2023, we finalised orders for 100 EV trucks for our French fleet, which will be used to transport palletized goods as partial loads.

HVO powered HGVs

XPO’s modern vehicles are already 98% compliant with Euro V, EEV, and Euro VI emissions standards.
But we aren’t stopping there. XPO is leading the green revolution with our ‘Low Emission Sustainable Solution’ (LESS). LESS is a decarbonization initiative that gives road transport customers an optional way to replace diesel fuel in HGVs with hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) – a fully renewable biofuel that can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%, compared to conventional diesel.

Technological edge, optimal results

At XPO, we use real-time route optimisation and analysis to drive decision-making, focused on cost, lead time, and environmental parameters.
